STUDY STORAGE

Welcome to Study Storage

Study Storage is a site built to accommodate a Bible Study group's digital sharing space requirements. This group is dedicated to honoring God with a daily commitment to His Word and to living a life conformed to His image and likeness. The mission is to help believers grow in their understanding of Scripture and apply it to their own lives. Through engaging studies, meaningful discussions, interactive questions by text message, and daily commentary, our members strive to gain a deeper understanding of the Bible and learn how to grow and effectively share our faith. We believe in the power of the Word of God and strive to help others experience its transforming power. There is no God but Yahweh, Yahweh is One!

Reading Through the Bible

Updated regularly with content progressing from Genesis to Revelation. There are gaps as we haven't gotten through it all - we are going deliberately through the Bible one chapter at a time, with commentary for every chapter (or smaller section depending on necessity). By the time this has gone through the entire Bible, this journey will have taken several years.

Synoptic Contrasts

While there are various references available to identify where the Gospels deliver parallel accounts of the life of Christ, this material is purposed to highlight where these parallel accounts differ or add to the content of another Gospel. This is not to suggest argument or disagreement among these Gospel authors, but rather to allow each to add content, perspective, location, details, etc., to each passage in a way that expands our understanding of what happened while Christ walked among us.

Devotional Notes

Here is a look at a few devotional books for discipleship, Bible study, or devotional. I strive to ensure these are worthy of including in anyone else's personal journey through these same books. The notes included, for now, are responses to Forty Days on the Mountain by Stephen Smallman, A Man of Purpose and Power by Dr. Myles Munroe, and I started going through The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren... but discovered I didn't align with his thinking. My responses to that point are included nonetheless.

As God continues to speak, this is one of the means by which He has allowed those conversations to become material others can share in and use for their own growth or instruction to others.

The Gospel

The Gospel is a message that must be communicated. But we need to know the message has been received. Writing a definition of the Gospel cannot confirm the delivery of the message. But the Gospel definition can be compellingly written. With too many details, you lose the reader; with too few, you lose the truth. Somewhere in the middle of this, the weight of the Gospel must be carried to the heart of the reader.

Weekly meeting notes for a multi-week discipleship plan, written to guide an accountability covenant partnership. The details are here for others to benefit from in fellowship and growth together. Topics include The Gospel, Covenant, Prayer, Church Attendance, Witnessing, Tithing, Fasting, Making Demands of God, Anger, Academic Stewardship, Intimacy with God, and more.
